Our throw pillows are made from 100% spun polyester poplin fabric and add a stylish statement to any room. Pillows are available in sizes from 14" x 14" up to 26" x 26". This artwork is an alternate version of the first "Never Forget Your Roots." The difference here is that the top words ("Branch out", et. al) now form part of the tree. It is centered on family. Words that I associate with family make up the tree image in the center. This work is meant to be encouragement for people to explore who they are but never forget from where they came.
I am a self-taught artist. I work with various mediums including acrylic, watercolors, pastels, graphic arts, film, digital photography, and digital imaging. Much of my work involves mixed mediums. I am also a portrait artist and illustrator, heavily influenced and inspired by the communities in which I have lived. I also enjoy illustrating sports scenes, painting portraits, and drawing cartoons.
