Ride the Horsey depicts a toddler riding a rocking horse. I used bolder colors for the toddler's accessories and the horse and softer colors and strokes for the toddler's skin and the background. I drew the image using a touchpad on an HP laptop. I drew each stroke, as I would've with a pen, pencil, or marker (or graphic pen or stylus). Separately I used colored pencils to color a sheet of drawing paper. Then I scanned the sheet and added it to my digital painting as the background.
