This is a scene of a cabin on a lake in the mountains. It's night and a beautiful, full orange moon is out. There doesn't appear to be a soul around. Whoever is taking in the scene is out in the middle of forever, where there are endless possibilities.

I decided on a whim to create an entirely digital painting. I used lines, geometric shapes, and shapes I "painted" using my finger and the touchpad to create it. Then I added texture.

I am a self-taught artist. I work with various mediums including acrylic, watercolors, pastels, graphic arts, film, digital photography, and digital imaging. Much of my work involves mixed mediums. I am also a portrait artist and illustrator, heavily influenced and inspired by the communities in which I have lived. I also enjoy illustrating sports scenes, painting portraits, and drawing cartoons.
