This is a painting of multicolored cubes. Ever since my sister painted a color study many years ago (in a far superior work also utilizing cubes), I've been fascinated with portraying contrasting colors in a somewhat optical illusion.
About Pharris Art
I am a self-taught artist. I work with various mediums including acrylic, watercolors, pastels, graphic arts, film, digital photography, and digital imaging. Much of my work involves mixed mediums. I am also a portrait artist and illustrator, heavily influenced and inspired by the communities in which I have lived. I also enjoy illustrating sports scenes, painting portraits, and drawing cartoons.
